Today I had the pleasure of my favourite 12-year-old company in the makery, and the luxury of a whole morning to play!
Paint and Gelli plate are pretty awesome on their own, but fresh young eyes open a whole new world of possibilities.
We pulled some fantastic colours from the plate.
I hadn’t thought of cutting up doilies and using sections, but they became hearts and borders and butterflies.
Afraid of colour? I don’t think so.
It was fun seeing my collection of apertures, textures and paints galloping into a new venture. This may become as popular as raclettes: “Can we have one for breakfast tomorrow?”
